- What values do I particularly admire? (Honesty, generosity, consistency, etc.)
- What are my strongest character qualities? (You might want to take the free character
strength inventory assessment available at http://www.viacharacter.org/www/ ). - How have I acted with moral courage in the past? Describe a situation in which you faced a challenging ethical dilemma in the workplace and did the right thing. What were the
outcomes for you or others? - How have I “voiced my values” in the past? Describe a time when you “spoke up” about
an ethical issue in the workplace. Were you listened to or not? What happened?

- What are some “gray areas” in organizations with which I have worked?
- What ethical challenges are typical in my business field?
- Who are “the” shareholders, stakeholders and/or owners and what are their “interests?”
- How will a professional ethics code, the MBA Oath, or my own personal creed assist me
in navigating ethical challenges in business and maintaining ethical integrity in life?
